Financial Planning Consultant
I specialise in…
Pensions, mainly with corporate and group pension arrangements.
I am really good at…
Putting people at ease and explaining the perceived complexities of their Company’s pension arrangement.
A bit of background…
I have had the pleasure of working in financial services for many years, starting with Norwich Union in 1984. I have had a number of roles within the industry mainly working with pensions. I have been in an Adviser role since 2005, initially with Walter Wright Financial Services, before the company was taken over by Perspective in 2011.
Other areas of expertise…
I also have a great deal of experience with other employee benefits, such as Group Life Insurance and Group Income Protection and though often incorrectly regarded as simple contracts, I have a good understanding of their intricacies.
My favourite holiday destination is…
Island of Seil, just off the West Coast of Scotland, peace & quiet, great scenery, good company and a decent pint of beer.
My favourite book…
The Crow Road by Iain Banks, a book that starts with the line ‘It was the day my grandmother blew up’ has to be given a chance – a contemporary every day tale of life, death and everything in between.
